- Light: Bright indirect to partial shade; 5–6 hours near a large window indoors or on a semi-shaded balcony.
- Watering: Check every 2–3 days; water when top 2 cm dry. At 70 cm the root system is substantial — water thoroughly each time.
- Fertilising: Every 2 weeks, March–September.
- Bark care: No special treatment needed. The tiger stripe pattern develops naturally with age and becomes more pronounced as the bark matures and exfoliates.
- Pruning: Maintain proportional canopy; prune to encourage density rather than size at this stage.
